SWE3008: Introduction to Computer Graphics
Computer graphics (CG) is a fundamental tool for creating and manipulating visual media including games, animation, virtual reality, and web, and is also a crucial component for science and engineering software. This course covers basic theory and practical techniques of CG for digital media. This course deals with GPU shader programming for its implementations.



ESW4001: Virtual Reality Theory
Virtual reality is an interdisciplinary next-generation medium that fuses many different areas upon computer science and engineering. This course focuses on the technological aspects of virtual reality, and deals with the fundamentals of theories, hardware/software, and its applications. The major subjects include virtual reality systems, the basics of computer graphics and stereoscopic rendering, vision/auditory/haptic perception, 3D interaction and practical implementation techniques.



ECE5614: Computer Graphics Theory
Computer graphics (CG) is a fundamental tool for creating visual media including games, animation, virtual reality, and web, and is also a crucial component for science and engineering software. This course covers fundamental theories, advanced techniques, and practice in CG. The theories covered in this course include images, geometry, modeling, transformation, projection, shading, texture mapping, ray tracing, global illumination, and special effects.
